The personnel at the Center for the Study of Biological Complexity at Virginia Commonwealth University includes faculty and staff members who hold the center as their home academic unit, as well as faculty with home departments across campus. Individuals from other departments and institutions can participate in the center as fellows, senior fellows and external fellows, as appropriate. Biological sleuthing
Associate professor Peter Uetz, Ph.D., divides his time between exploring proteins and cataloging reptiles, the latter of which has resulted in a collaborative database of more than 10,000 species.
